Tropical Storm Irene Renovation
Tropical Storm Irene severely damaged this home on the Potomac River. The metal roofing in the rear rolled back to expose the interior to the heavy rains that followed. Walls, ceilings, flooring, cabinets and fans, as well as roofing and siding, had to be removed.
Eight months later, Korman Builders returned the home to its owners, who were very pleased with the results. The interior has new painted sheetrock walls and ceilings, new pine paneling, new carpet, beautiful new kitchen and appliances and much more. On the outside, this charming home has received a new shingled front roof, new metal roof in the rear and beautiful blue Cedar Impressions vinyl siding.
